God, Hope & Helping Others

I am one who believes in the fulfillment of dual prophecy. This next passage of scripture falls into my understanding that some prophecy can and does receive fulfillment in dual or on occasion, more levels of fulfillment.

Matthew 24:15 ‘When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)’ In Daniel 9:26-27 there is mentioned vs. 27 ‘...the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate...’ and in Daniel 12:11 ‘And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,...’ I’m not going to get into this “Daniel” matter at this time. The importance of Matthew 24:15 is that for those living in that day, when this abomination is revealed; they who see this event happen, need to take heed to the following scriptures and obey the information presented.

Matthew 24:16 ‘Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:’ Flee in the Greek is: G5343 φεύγωpheugō fyoo'-go Apparently a primary verb; to run away (literally or figuratively); by implication to shun; by analogy to vanish: - escape, flee (away). Mountains in the Greek is: G3735 ὄρος oros or'-os Probably a from an obsolete word ὄρω orō (to rise or “rear”; perhaps akin to G142; compare G3733); a mountain (as lifting itself above the plain): - hill, mount (-ain). The message is for those who are in Judea to flee rapidly into the mountains. Don’t wait a bit or hesitate at all. Go now!

Matthew 24:17-18 ‘(17) Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: (18) Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes’. This is very clear instruction Jesus has given.

Matthew 24:19-20 ‘And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (20) But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:’ Jesus is lamenting for the expectant mothers to be and those who have given birth and are nursing their babies. This time in human history will be terrible for these women. Jesus says to pray that it not be winter or on the sabbath day. Could Jesus be letting the people know that when this abomination is revealed that then it will be on a winters day and on the sabbath day? Maybe?

Matthew 24:21 ‘For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be’. Well, now we know what this time in history is called. Tribulation. Tribulation in the Greek is: G2347 θλίψις thlipsis thlip'-sis From G2346; pressure (literally or figuratively): - afflicted, (-tion), anguish, burdened, persecution, tribulation, trouble. It doesn’t matter how many times I read this portion of scripture, I am devastated by its wording. Those living in that day will experience more pain and suffering than I can imagine.

Matthew 24:22 ‘And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened’. Flesh in the Greek is: G4561 σάρξsarx sarx Probably from the base of G4563; flesh (as stripped of the skin), that is, (strictly) the meat of an animal (as food), or (by extension) the body (as opposed to the soul (or spirit),... Elect in the Greek is: G1588 ἐκλεκτός eklektos ek-lek-tos' From G1586; select; by implication favorite: - chosen, elect.

Conditions will be so severe that unless the Lord God Himself stepped in to prevent further death, no flesh would survive. It’s wonderful to know that some Christians have survived up to this point. I’m so happy as they are my brethren.

It is the Ministry of NSearch that all inherit the Kingdom of God

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law....

Now the works of the flesh are evident,

which are adultery fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;

of which I (Paul the Apostle) tell you beforehand,

just as I also told you in time past, that those who

practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,

against such there is no law. Those who are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

envying one another.
