As we continue our meditation on Naaman,one thing is noteworthy: Naaman's greatness was not a mere accident or happenstance. Naaman's greatness was not because the human factors that influence greatness were in his favour. He didn't become great simply because people assisted him or wished him well on the path of greatness. His greatness was not a case of luck or fate. Naaman was great because by him, God gave Victory to Syria. His greatness was directly linked to what God used him to do. His greatness was directly linked to God. When his greatness seemed humanly impossible due to leprosy, God made the difference and he became great. One mistake we often make is to assess our chances of greatness on the basis of factors that are for us or against us. We often approach our pursuit of greatness with total dependence on human and natural factors. Hardwork is essential but the GOD FACTOR amplifies every work you do. Today, hear God's word to you: Your race to greatness may be encumbered with hurdles you ordinarily cannot scale through,but God will empower you to scale through them. Critics and Cynics may have given a damning verdict on account of what they know about you, but God has the final say on your greatness. God will empower you to achieve greatness despite the human factors you may or may not have. Friend,work hard but don't overlook the role of Divinity in the realm of Humanity. The GOD FACTOR is your mark of distinction. The GOD FACTOR is the icing on the cake of your destiny. Pray with me,"Lord,may the GOD-FACTOR continually distinguish me for distinctions".
