How Jews are treated in Iran

In which country, most Jews live in the area of ME and Asia? Answer: Iran.

Yes, the brainwashed by our media consumer who is irrigated every day with anti-Iran propaganda is astonished.

There live about 35,000 Jews in Iran having equal rights in all and this has been for thousands of years.

Here we are told, Jews are treated as bad minorities in the 'State of God'.

All just a lie.

Here are some facts about the Jewish community in Iran:
The Jewish MP Siamak Morsadegh in the Iranian parliament next to his Sunni Muslim colleagues:

- There are 18 synagogues in Tehran and all together 25 in Iran.

- Jews may freely exercise their religion and culture.

- Jews are treated according to the Iranian Constitution and protected.

- Jewish burial rites and divorce laws are accepted.

- Jews have their own newspaper called the "Ofogh-e-Bina".

- In the Jewish school boys and girls are trained.

- There is a Jewish hospital in Tehran.

- Also, a Jewish library of over 20,000 books.

- A Jewish nursing home and a cemetery there, too.

- Tehran has several kosher butchers and restaurants.

- Jews serve in the military and fought in the Iraq-Iran war.

- There is a Jewish representative in the parliament.

- During WW II, 5,000 Jews were provided by Iranian diplomats with passports and thus saved from the Holocaust.

If you now ask why the Jewish women wear a headscarf in the photo ... because, according to Jewish religion, it must, almost always and everywhere, as well as men have to wear a Kippa at least.Jewish women wear if they are married, divorced or widowed and hold religious life, a head covering.

This may be a cap, a hat, a wig or a scarf. Something new learnt today? Interesting too how does this change our mindset on the headscarf.

- The Association of Jews in Tehran said in a communique:

'We Iranian Jews condemn the false claim of the US State Department on religious minorities, because we can fulfil our religious duties freely and we feel no restrictions in terms of religious rituals.'

- Although the Israeli government paid a premium of approximately USD 50,000 per family in order to encourage the Iranian Jews to emigrate, the possibility is hardly noticed.

- Jews work mainly in the manufacture of gold jewellery, antiques, textiles and carpets.

- In almost every city in Iran there are Jewish shrines and historical monuments. For example, Esther, Mordechai and famous Habakkuk shrines in Hamedan, the grave of Daniel in Susa, and the ‚Peighambariyeh’ mausoleum in Qazvin.

Even Muslims go to Daniel’s shrine for pilgrimage.

We see we been shown a very false image of Iran that even Jews are in Iran and how they can live their culture freely.

That also applies to other religious minorities such as Armenian Christians too.

Iran would destroy Israel???
