God, Hope & Helping Others

Genesis 2 Creation

According to the King James Version bible,

Genesis 2:4 ‘...the Lord God [(the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jehovah, the Lord] made the earth and the heavens'.

(5) And every plant of the field before [to interrupt or suspend; used adverbially not yet or before] it was [to exist, that is, be or become] in the earth, and every herb of the field before [to interrupt or suspend; used adverbially not yet or before] it grew [to sprout, bear, bring forth, (cause to, make to) bud (forth)] for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

(6) But there went up a mist [a fog: - mist, vapor] from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

(7) And the Lord God [Jehovah] formed [to mould into a form, fashion, form, frame, make (-r), potter, purpose] man of the dust [dust (as powdered or gray); hence clay, earth, mud: - ashes, dust, earth, ground, morter, powder, rubbish] of the ground [soil (from its general redness)] and breathed [to puff, in various applications (literally, to inflate, blow hard] into his nostrils the breath [a puff, inspiration, soul, spirit] of life [alive] and man became [to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass]

a living soul [properly a breathing creature].

(8) And the Lord God [Jehovah} planted [specifically to plant, fastened, plant (-er)] a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man [ruddy, that is, a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.)] whom He had formed.

In this account of creation the Lord God [Jehovah] made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field. Then He was interrupted or suspended further creative process, specifically of planting in the earth, all plants that He had just created. He yet was to make rain fall on the earth. However, there was a mist that watered the whole face of the earth.

Jehovah created man. Then sometime after that He planted a garden in Eden and put the man in the garden.

Then after the creation of the garden in Eden and the Lord God putting the man in the garden, in Genesis 2:9 it does report about the Lord God “growing” out of the ground.

Something happened to cause the Lord God to interrupt His creative process? I believe the answer will be found in Genesis 1.

Here is the record from the Targum Jonathan (Targom of Palestine):

These are the geneses of the heavens and earth when they were created in the day that the Lord God made the earth and heavens. And all the trees of the field were not as yet in the earth, and all the herbs of the field had not as yet germinated, because the Lord God had not made it to rain upon the earth, and man was not to cultivate the ground. But a cloud of glory descended from the throne of glory, and was filled with waters from the ocean, and afterward went up from the earth, and gave rain to come down and water all the face of the ground.

And the Lord God created man in two formations; and took dust from the place of the house of the sanctuary, and from the four winds of the world, and mixed from all the waters of the world, and created him red, black, and white; and breathed into his nostrils the inspiration of life, and there was in the body of Adam the inspiration of a speaking spirit, unto the illumination of the eyes and the hearing of the ears. [JERUSALEM. And Adam became a soul of life.]

And a garden from the Eden of the just was planted by the Word of the Lord God before the creation of the world, and He made there to dwell the man when He had created him.

It is the Ministry of NSearch that all inherit the Kingdom of God

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law....

Now the works of the flesh are evident,

which are adultery fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;

of which I (Paul the Apostle) tell you beforehand,

just as I also told you in time past, that those who

practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,

against such there is no law. Those who are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

envying one another.
