God, Hope & Helping Others

Did you know that culture and religion can change the way you see the world? Just as you would read reviews to find out if paperial.com safe? It is the same way with religion. Regardless of what psychologists and researchers say, it is crucial that you conduct your research and make your own conclusions. At first, most people adhere to religion for the sake of their souls then it becomes a custom thing. A habit they cannot be shaken off because it involves both their minds and body. However as slogans like ‘My faith my life’ become more common, it is essential for you to learn how religion can make you happier and even healthier.

Helps you adopt a better lifestyle

Jesus changes lives. Christians believe that their bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, so they learn to take better care of their lives. With religion, you learn to eat better, workout more and drink water to make your body a temple that is worth the presence of God. It is also true that godliness stays next to cleanliness. Therefore religious people tend to be cleaner both when it comes to their bodies and their environments as well. Therefore God can change your life if you let him. A study published in the Journal of personality and social psychology showed that students who chose pleasant but non-religious objects felt that they had less control of their futures compared to those who stayed to religion. You get more self-control and understand that God is above you and he is the author and finisher of your life.

You secrete more serotonin

Serotonin is a happy hormone that keeps you happy and relaxed through hardships. According to researchers, religious people are happier than non-believers. However, it is not because they believe in a supreme being. It is because there are social joys that come with being part of regular services.  Gathering together with others at the temple, church, mosque or synagogue helps you build your social networks, solidify ties and get more life satisfaction.

Increases your belief in yourself

For me, God saved my life through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is through his power that I believe that I can achieve everything through Christ who strengthened me. God has changed my life and today, I believe in myself a lot more. Studies have also shown that religious people not only have higher self-esteem, but they also have a better psychological adjustment. However, this is only true for people from countries where religion is important and widespread.

When you think about God’s unconditional love to humanity and the huge sacrifice he made, you understand that you may never be perfect, but he loves you anyway. To deal with any setbacks in your life, you can always fall back to faith to gracefully deal with your shortcomings and those of others. This tendency is what allows Christians to deal with anxieties better and remain more stress-free as compared to atheists.

Increased gratitude

When you believe that God gave you everything you have for free, it humbles you. It reminds you that you are not better than other people, but He chooses to love you unconditionally anyway. Christianity emphasizes on being grateful for everything God does for you. This trains people to focus on counting their blessings rather than obsessing on the things they do not have. With religion, you get more emotional resilience, increased energy levels and more success in your career. You are also proud of yourself for the small accomplishments because you understand that not everyone can do what you have done.

It is the Ministry of NSearch that all inherit the Kingdom of God

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law....

Now the works of the flesh are evident,

which are adultery fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;

of which I (Paul the Apostle) tell you beforehand,

just as I also told you in time past, that those who

practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,

against such there is no law. Those who are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

envying one another.

Galatians 5:18-26

{Sorcery: "Pharmakia;" Primarily mentioned as one of the "works of the flesh." In "sorcery" the use of drugs. Blue Letter Bible. Galatians 5:20}
