God, Hope & Helping Others

IMO, the doctrine of Angel Marriages is an extremely harmful false doctrine, based on extremely poor biblical exegesis.  Its ultimate source is the Talmud (Shabbath 146a; Yevamot 103b; Zohar 1,28b).  It has been thoroughly debunked by evangelist Ted R. Weiland in his booklet Eve: Did She Or Didn't She?  It is one of the Jewish fables the apostle Paul warned his followers of (Titus 1:14).  It is the basis of the so-called Seedline Hypothesis, which teaches that all Jews are the offspring of Satan.

The Seedliners cite John 8:44 to support their hypothesis, while studiously avoiding John 8:37, where Christ Himself admitted that the Jews were Abraham's descendants.

Therefore, a rational mind would conclude that John 8:37-47 is referring to two types of begettal: physical and spiritual (John 8:37, 44).  This passage cannot rigthfully be used to justify the Seedline Hypothesis.

Seedliners also cite Genesis 6:1-4 to support their hypothesis, maintaining that the "sons of God" in verse 2 were fallen angels who married the daughters of men, thus producing the "giants" of verse 4.

Yet if we follow the exegetical principle that the best interpretation of the Bible is the Bible, we find that Genesis 6:1-4 cannot be referring to "angel marriages."  For in Matthew 22:30, Christ Himself tells us very plainly that angels "neither marry, nor are given in marriage."  In other words, angels don't have sexual intercourse.

In conclusion, the doctrines of Angel Marriages and the Seedline Hypothesis are incredibly unjust, unfair and fallacious doctrines.  They condemn all Jews equally merely because of  their ethnicity.  According to these fallacious doctrines, there are no exceptions:  all Jews are inherently and intrinsically evil because they are the spawn of the Devil, thus ignoring the fact that many Jews have openly condemned the evil practices of some of their brethren.  Thus these two doctrines have become fallacious fetishes in the minds of many.

I have the following comments on the angels. Regarding Genesis 6:4 ‘There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became might men which were of old, men of renown’.

Using Strong’s Concordance we find the following:

giant, H5303 נְפִל    נְפִיל nephı̂yl nephil nef-eel', From H5307; properly, a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant.

Son(s), H1121בֵּן bên bane From H1129; a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc., (like H1, H251, etc.): [more listed but not used at this time].

God, H430 אֱלֹהִים 'ĕlôhı̂ym el-o-heem' Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: - angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

And they bare, H3205 יָלַד yâlad yaw-lad' A primitive root; to bear young; causatively to beget; medically to act as midwife; specifically to show lineage: - bear, beget, birth ([-day]), born, (make to) bring forth (children, young), bring up, calve, child, come, be delivered (of a child), time of delivery, gender, hatch, labour, (do the office of a) midwife, declare pedigrees, be the son of, (woman in, woman that) travail (-eth, -ing woman).

In Genesis 2 we find “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose’.

These “sons of God’ are the created beings “of the supreme God”. They are magistrates, angels, (gods), fallen angels that once lived in heaven with the Lord God. In heaven angels do not have children. They do not have sexual relations. In heaven, it is the Lord God who is the creator of children, not angels. These fallen angels did indeed have sexual organs and did have sex with human women. This is not how the Lord God designed it to be with angels. Humans were to procreate through sex. The fallen angels were still rebellious even on the earth toward the Lord God.

You will find these same fallen angels mentioned in Job 2:1 ‘Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.

You presented other information that is very interesting. I have read your posting with great interest.

The expression "son of God" is applied to Adam in Luke 3:38.  Likewise, Psalm 82:6 says "all of you are children of the most High."  Job 38:7 refers to angels as "sons of God."  Yet Psalm 104:4 tells us that "[God] maketh his angels spirits."  Spirit beings producing flesh and blood offspring would be contrary to the fact that everything reproduces "after his kind" (Genesis 1:11; 1:12; 1:21; 1:24; 1:25; 6:20; 7:14).  This limit to the amount of genetic variability available in a species is termed genetic homeostasis.

The expression "son of God" is applied to Adam in Luke 3:38. Correct. The lineage referred to ends with the creation of Adam revealed in Genesis 2:7 ‘And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul’. It is the Lord God [Jehovah]: Strong’s H3068 יְהֹוָה yehôvâh yeh-ho-vaw' From H1961; (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God: - Jehovah, the Lord. Compare H3050, H3069 that created Adam of the dust or clay of the ground. Then He breathed the breath of life into him and he became a living soul. This breath is the breath from the Lord God and contains the Spirit of/from the Lord God also. John 4:24 ‘God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Since Jehovah created Adam from clay and breathed life into Adam, it is correct to refer to Adam as a son of God.

Likewise, Psalm 82:6 says "all of you are children of the most High." To understand more clearly what the Psalmist is stating we need to view the entirety of verse 6. ‘I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High’. The word gods in Strong’s is: H430 אֱלֹהִים 'ĕlôhı̂ym el-o-heem' Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: - angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty. In this verse, God Jehovah is making a statement about man and He states that “Ye are gods”. Notice that eloheem is “of the supreme God, magistrates, angels, gods”.

Job 38:7 refers to angels as "sons of God." I agree with you.

Yet Psalm 104:4 tells us that "[God] maketh his angels spirits." Indeed, angles are spirit beings.

Spirit beings producing flesh and blood offspring would be contrary to the fact that everything reproduces "after his kind" (Genesis 1:11; 1:12; 1:21; 1:24; 1:25; 6:20; 7:14).  This limit to the amount of genetic variability available in a species is termed genetic homeostasis. Sorry, I don’t hold to your understanding.

Jesus explained to the Sadducees (learned in the scriptures) about the resurrection, marriage and angels in heaven in Matthew 22:29-30. ‘(29) Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. (30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven’. You see Jesus was explaining to them that in heaven things are different than here on earth. Angels don’t marry and have children. Humans do, not angels. You see, the Sadducees didn’t understand the scriptures regarding these matters, nor did they understand the power of God. Heaven is run differently than earth. Jesus never stated that angels didn’t have the equipment to have children, He merely let the Sadducees know that in heaven Father God doesn’t allow angles to have babies. He’s the creator, not angels. If he wants angles to have babies, He’ll make them babies. Jesus had a similar problem with Nicodemus in understanding the power of God. Notice the dialogue in John 3:9-12: ‘(9) Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, How can these things be? (10) Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? (11) Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that We do know, and testify that We have seen; and ye receive not Our witness. (12) If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?’ Nicodemus was a great teacher of the scriptures in his day. Yet, he did not understand the power of God.

It is the Ministry of NSearch that all inherit the Kingdom of God

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law....

Now the works of the flesh are evident,

which are adultery fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;

of which I (Paul the Apostle) tell you beforehand,

just as I also told you in time past, that those who

practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,

against such there is no law. Those who are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

envying one another.
