Video Showing How to Get More Shaves With an Old Pair of Jeans!

I have tried this next trick and it really works!   Since I have to shave my face and my head on a regular basis I'm a pretty good expert on razor blades and how long they typically last!  My personal favorite blade so far is the Gillette Fusion.  This one always seems to give the best shave but the downside is they are very expensive!  I found this tip about two months ago and I'm very happy to report that it really works!   And best of all, it doesn't cost you a dime to try because almost everybody has an old pair of jeans somewhere.

The jeans don't really "sharpen" the blades but if you do this trick after you shave, it seems to clean off any oxidation and water making the blades last MUCH longer!  I've already saved money doing this and wanted to share this trick with others.

By the way, I'm an avid watcher of that TV show, "Revolution" because I think it gives you an insight into what can happen when societies break down without electricity.  Since I began watching this show, I look at things around the house in a much different way!   I look at everything through the eyes of somebody in that television series.   In other words, if everything broke down what value would an item have in my life?  Things that would help you survive without electricity are high value while things like phones, ipads etc are of no value!

I have been saving my old disposable blades for a couple of years now in a box just in case of an "End of an end of the world "Revolution TV show" scenario.  I figured these old blades would always be useful for something and in that type of society, you'd almost kill for a good shave even if it wasn't with a perfect razor.

I've used this "Jeans" trick to rejuvenate one of the older blades I saved.  When I first tried this trick, I pulled out one of the old blades I had saved to see if I could shave with it again!  I ran water over the blade and then did then did about 20 passes on the jeans in the opposite direction that you would shave.

The Results

It rejuvenated the old blade and I'm still going strong with that same blade for two months now!  I'm very impressed with this little trick and it didn't cost me a penny to try!

So try it out for yourself and let me know how you did with it.  I'll post more information in this area also for other things that can help get more life out of those razors!

It is the Ministry of NSearch that all inherit the Kingdom of God

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law....

Now the works of the flesh are evident,

which are adultery fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;

of which I (Paul the Apostle) tell you beforehand,

just as I also told you in time past, that those who

practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,

against such there is no law. Those who are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

envying one another.

Galatians 5:18-26
