5 More Important Things Than Indiana Gay Rights Situation. (Hint, They are happening right now and you are distracted…again)

Apr 2, 2015

Social issues are the modern distraction of our time. We are a society easy to distract. I take nothing away from anyone’s passion for the recent legislation in Indiana, but it is important to possess at least a semblance of ability to prioritize. When you don’t prioritize, you lose site of the real issues. The Indiana gay rights situation, while it may upset you, is distracting you from other things.

I know, you will paint me as someone who doesn’t believe in gay rights. You will do this because it is easy for you to do; it is comfortable for you to do. But it isn’t accurate. It is instead a sappy approach and a problem, disease to our society’s infrastructure. You compromise the future when you can’t understand prioritization. Facebook right now looks like

I am for gay rights. I don’t think a pizza shop should tell someone who is gay they can’t eat there. But that’s not the point. The point is, once again, everyone is distracted and the nefarious world is happening around them. Again.

Here are 5 Things you are distracted from.

1) Legislation is moving to destroy your civil liberties by forcing you to vaccinate your kids.

Just under 30 states have proposed legislation. The freedom to choose whether or not you vaccinate your child failed in Oregon, thankfully, but maybe we got a little lucky there. The truth is, the right to choose is a civil liberty. No matter how you feel about vaccinations, you should never want the Government to tell you whether or not you have to vaccinate your child. The slippery slope here is incredibly dangerous.

2) The Obama administration is taking your bullets away.

Yeah, protect your right to bear arms, but forget your bullets because the Obama administration is seeking to disarm people several rounds at a time, rather than one gun at at time. Savvy on their part? Yes. But good for the nation? No way. This one has been quietly running in the background for years but commonly takes a back seat to social issues and celebrity news.

3) That Drought in California.

This one is pulling in views, sure, but most people probably think the solve is coming. Desalination or an El Nino will come in for the save. But that’s just not happening. Instead major agriculture, which is exported from California to the rest of us, stands to inflate dramatically and the state itself is nearing a dead end for being able to serve actual water. This could spell doom and gloom for our economy.

4) The dollar isn’t stable.

The US is a printing machine. Need cash to pay China? Print some. The economy is a glorified pyramid scheme and literally no one is ever talking about it. If / when the dollar crashes, expect catastrophic results. When you consider #2 on our list of ammunition shortages, and then #3 on our list of a drought, you can multiply the catastrophe by 2 more. It is that bad. Our country is sold on bonds to China, yet we never hear a word about it.

5) Monsanto is taking over the world.

Yep, Monsanto isn’t just buying “scientist,” it is literally taking over the world by marketing to consumers that its business of GMO crops is good for the world. While the world is focused on one pizza place in Indiana, Monsanto is selling the public that it is good for the world. Just consider that for a moment.

The food your children eat. The food you eat. The bees. The ecosystem. Small farmers. All compromised. And no one seems to get it. Or no one seems to take the time to get it.

It is the Ministry of NSearch that all inherit the Kingdom of God

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law....

Now the works of the flesh are evident,

which are adultery fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy,

murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like;

of which I (Paul the Apostle) tell you beforehand,

just as I also told you in time past, that those who

practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,

against such there is no law. Those who are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking one another,

envying one another.
