Jesus' Return To Earth

In Genesis 3:8 it is written ‘And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden’. The Theophanies describe Jesus visiting earth at various times. Then, a reading of the gospels reveals some of the events of Jesus’ ministry, when He proved His presence on earth in His first coming.

We then find Jesus with his disciples in Jerusalem preparing them to receive the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1:9-11 it is written ‘(9) And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. (10) And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; (11) Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven: this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven’. Therefore, Jesus will return again to the earth in a cloud. In Matthew 25:1-13 Jesus gives us information concerning His church. He calls them "brides": some wise and some foolish. The wise go to heaven as revealed in Revelation 19:7-9; Revelation 21:2-7 and Revelation 3:7-13. Please notice that the wise brides are the “overcomers” of Revelation 3:5 and Revelation 21:7.

In His second coming, Jesus returns to earth and sets foot on the Mount of Olives. He gathers the opposition armies against Him at Armageddon for a final battle where He defeats His enemies. He has the antichrist and false prophet thrown alive into the lake of fire and has satan bound and locked up in the pit. See Zechariah 14:1-11; Revelation 16:15-21; Revelation 19:11-21 and Revelation 20: Finally we see the millennial reign of Jesus revealed in Revelation 20.
